The girl who figured out
marketing the hard way.
I’ve worked across websites, SEO, funnels, social, email, and everything in between. I don’t just hand you a strategy doc and disappear.
If you’re a coach, a solopreneur, a woman running her own thing — you already know how to sell, how to serve your clients, how to show up. What trips you up is the tech. “Building a website” sounds like a whole other skill set you never signed up for, so it sits on your to-do list for months while you tell yourself you’ll “figure it out eventually.”
I want to save you those months.
You don’t need a developer. You don’t need to learn to code. You don’t even need to be “the techy one” in your friend group. You need Systeme.io, about an afternoon, and permission to stop overthinking it — which is exactly what this guide gives you.
Here’s what I see over and over with coaches and solopreneurs: it’s never actually the tech that’s stopping them. It’s the overthinking. It’s “I’ll build it once I know exactly what I want to say.” It’s “I need to get the colors right first.” It’s waiting to feel ready before you let yourself hit publish.
Meanwhile, the site sits unbuilt, and the business sits unseen.
So before we get into the steps, here’s the mindset shift that matters more than any button you’ll click: your website doesn’t need to be perfect to go live — it needs to be live to become perfect. You edit a published page. You can’t edit one that doesn’t exist yet.
I build websites, sales pages, and funnels inside Systeme.io constantly — for coaches, creators, and solopreneurs just like you. And the honest truth about how I work is this: I don’t agonize over every section before it goes live. I build the core pages, I publish, and I refine from there.
That’s not corner-cutting — that’s the actual system that works:
If you take nothing else from this guide, take that: stop trying to think your way to a perfect website. Build the simple version, publish it, and let real feedback tell you what to improve. This is exactly how I’d build it for you if you hired me to — I’m just handing you the same process.
A few things make it the right tool for someone with zero tech background:
Head to Systeme.io and create a free account — no credit card required to start. The free plan is genuinely enough to build and launch a small website and blog, so there’s zero risk in just starting today.
Once you’re in, you’ll land on the main dashboard: Websites, Funnels, Blog, Emails, and Automations, all down the left side. For this guide, you’ll mostly live in Websites and Blog.
My tip: don’t sit and compare plans for an hour. Build on the free tier first. You’ll know exactly what you need once something’s actually live.
Grab a notebook — or your Notes app — and write down the pages your site actually needs. Not the pages you think a “real business” is supposed to have. The ones that actually do a job:
Five pages. That’s it. You are not underbuilding by keeping it this simple — you’re avoiding the trap that keeps most solo founders stuck for months.
Inside Websites, click Create a Website, name it, and pick a starting template — or start blank if you already have a vibe in mind.
From here, it’s genuinely just clicking and typing:
Build your Home page first — it sets the tone for everything else. Then copy those same style choices onto your About, Services, and Contact pages so it all feels like one brand, not four different attempts.
Permission slip: you do not need to make every section different or “creative.” Reusing two or three section styles across your site isn’t lazy — it’s what makes a site look put-together instead of pieced-together.
Your blog lives right inside the same dashboard — no separate login, no extra tool to learn.
Write and publish one post. Not ten. One post you’re proud to send someone is worth more than ten drafts sitting unfinished.
A .systeme.io link is fine for testing, but your own domain (yourname.com) makes you look like the established business you already are.
My tip: get this done before you start sharing your link everywhere. I’ve helped clients untangle a domain switch after the fact — it’s avoidable if you set it up early.
Connect your pages so people (and Google) can move around your site easily.
A website that just sits there looking nice isn’t doing its job. Add one simple opt-in — a newsletter signup or small free resource — to your homepage or blog.
Because it’s all inside Systeme.io already, there’s no extra tool to connect. Every new subscriber lands straight in your Emails tab, ready for your first email. This one small step is what turns “I have a website” into “I have a business that grows while I’m not looking at it.”
Before you go live:
Then hit Publish. Not “publish once it’s perfect.” Publish now. You can — and will — keep improving it after real people start seeing it. That’s not a flaw in the process; that’s the process.
I’m really not techy — can I actually do this myself? Yes. If you can use Canva, Instagram, or even just drag a photo into an email, you have every skill this requires. The whole platform is built for people without a tech background.
Is Systeme.io free to start? Yes. The free plan covers everything in this guide — you can build and publish your full website and blog before spending anything.
Can I use my own domain name? Yes, any domain you own connects through the Domains settings, with step-by-step instructions provided.
Is this just for funnels, or can I build a real website too? Both — Systeme.io includes a full website and blog builder that works on its own or alongside your funnels.
How long will this actually take me? A focused afternoon, if your content is already written. The building itself moves fast once you stop second-guessing it.
Everything above is genuinely doable solo — I wrote it that way on purpose. But if tech still isn’t where you want to spend your time (and it doesn’t have to be), that’s exactly what I do for coaches, creators, and solopreneurs every week: full websites, sales pages, landing pages, and email automation, built inside Systeme.io with custom features — not stock templates.
You focus on your clients. I’ll make it live.
